Years ago Madeleine van der Knoop contacted me in search of somebody working with glass who could help here with a bronze of a peacock she was creating and wanted to give a special finish.

As we were living nearby, cooperation was even easier.
The result was a blue disc of glass with goldleaf melted on it. Each disc is unique (using a special method applying the goldleaf) and she uses several sizes of discs, thus contributing to the impression of the feathers of a peacock.
